Upnor Castle Wedding Photographs

• 450 year old Elizabethan Artilery Fort
• Maximum capacity - 100 persons
• Parking - none at the castle but limited available just outside the village
  (car sharing could be essential as the village carpark is small and is busy during the summer)

Upnor is situated north of Rochester, Kent.  Prior to the ceremony we had torrential rain and the outlook appeared gloomy.

this is the first time I have witnessed the giving and receiving of roses

just as the ceremony ended, the gloom lifted outside and a shaft of light glimpsed past Gill's wedding gown 

the string quartet moved downstairs for the champagne reception

luckily the weather held off and we were able to make use of the riverside of the castle bastion - the photographer gets down low to fit the castle into the shot

the doors are closed and it's time for our couple to make their way to the reception
